Terms and Conditions
Order times vary depending on the piece. Pieces with enamel or stones might take up to four weeks for delivery. Please check on the specific item’s page for details as some pieces are already made and ready to ship within two to three days of the order being placed. If you would like a piece for a special occasion or a particular date, please let me know at the time of ordering by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will do my best to meet your needs.
All of the pieces are hand-made. I begin making each piece as the order is placed. The shipping time begins from the date the item is made, not the date of ordering. As soon as the piece is made, I will email you to confirm that the order is ready to ship.
Shipping is free of charge within the United States. I use USPS, and a tracking number is supplied by email as soon as the order is mailed.
Rest of the world
Shipping charges apply. Consult the drop-down menu on Shipping Options at check out. Orders are mailed via FEDEX fully insured and can take up to 10 days, depending on the region. A tracking number is supplied by email as soon as the order is mailed.
Your order is mailed in an unbranded box. Each piece of Jewelry is individually wrapped in a branded Maria Irene Weinz box. All our packaging s made of recycled materials. A receipt will be emailed to you when ordering; no receipt will accompany your order.
Gift Wrap and Custom Message
Please add your gift message in the notes section during the checkout process, and I will include a hand-written note with your order. All gift orders are gift wrapped.
I offer a custom service allowing customers to have unique items designed especially for them. This service is limited to original designs that fit within my design concepts. Quotes on custom piece orders are valid for 30 days, and I reserve the right to change prices before confirmation of the order depending on the fluctuation of material costs such as precious metals.
A custom or customized order cannot be changed or canceled once your deposit of 50% of the price has been paid. This is your agreement and commitment to the order: amendment or cancellation will forfeit the deposit.
SALES AND RETURNS
I hope that you will be delighted with your piece of MIW jewelry. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, I am happy to offer an exchange or a credit within 30 days of purchase. Alternatively, I will refund a sale made through this website or in person if it is returned to me unworn, in perfect condition, and its original packaging within 14 working days of your receipt of the order. If you do wish to return an item, please contact me for further details. Purchases exempt from both the refund and exchange policies, unless they are structurally faulty, are:
— Commissioned pieces (custom)
— Customized pieces
When ordering rings online, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure he/she has ordered the correct size. I will re-size a ring once free of charge, but any further re-sizing will incur a charge depending on the ring's size and material.
Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable. If you purchase an item during one of my sales that support a charitable cause such as the Margaret Macnamara Education Fund, I will deduct the percentage of the proceeds donated to the charity from the refund of the particular piece. Your refund will be issued by the same method you paid within 28 days of receipt of the return.
A custom or customized order cannot be changed or canceled once your deposit has been paid. This is your agreement and commitment to the order.
REPAIRS + RECONDITIONING
Imperfections are part of my designs' essence; however, if you feel your piece has a structural fault, please return it to me for inspection. I assess repairs on a case-by-case basis. Due to the nature of my handmade jewelry, occasionally, a stone may become loose. In this case, I will re-set it. I am committed to making my customers happy, so please contact me as soon as possible if you experience any issues with your purchase.
Some of the pieces have been oxidized to give them an aged finish. As this is a surface covering, it will wear over time, and the silver beneath will show through. This is an intentional element of the design.
Enamel is glass, and it can break if not stored or appropriately worn. Please store your jewellery separately and avoid doing high-impact sports while wearing enamel jewelry.
ONE OF A KIND
Each piece is handmade and therefore unique, and small variations occur within pieces. If for any reason, you are not happy with your order or you feel it is not in keeping with your request, I would be happy to exchange it for you within 30 days of purchase. Please refer to the Sales and Returns policy for purchases exempt from exchange or refund.
I offer a custom service allowing customers to have unique items designed especially for them. This service is limited to original designs that follow my creations' character, and the customer must agree to give me artistic freedom. Turn around times for custom orders are 4-8 weeks. Quotes on custom orders are valid for 30 days and I reserve the right to change prices before confirmation of charge depending on the fluctuation of material costs such as precious metals.
I require a 50% deposit for custom and customized orders to confirm your order before production. At this point, you will be committed to purchase. The remainder will then need to be paid in full before collection or delivery of the order. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Pieces remain the property of Maria Irene Weinz until paid for in full.
